Dan Desrochers
Project Manager
Can you talk about a time that you have felt especially appreciated by a client?
We work for some elderly clients on Beacon Hill, doing many small tasks and projects. They get so excited when we show up; they are so happy to see us and love to tell us about their life journeys and adventures like going to Antarctica, hitching a ride on a scientific research vessel, or traveling on the Amazon River. Every Christmas, I get a handmade, handwritten card, thanking me and letting me know their appreciation for me and the crew. It always makes me feel good talking to them — it’s like having another set of caring parents, since mine have long since passed away. Every now and then, when I’m in the area, I will check in on them, just to see their smiles when they see me. It’s a great feeling.
Fun fact about Dan
I still socialize with friends that I have known for almost 50 years. We still ski, camp, kayak, and drink great beer.
